took the canoe out and nicholas brought along a friend that had never caught a fish before. spent the first hour teaching him to cast and had to untangle and rerig his line twice. he finally got the hang of it and caught some fish.
overall a good day and a good weekend for nicholas. he finally got a big one. a nice 22 inch pickerel. the excitement of the day.
at the end of the day we had caught 15 calicos, 3 largemouth, 5 pickerel, and 8 perch.
