Stump Pond, Westboro, MA Fishing Report
05/30/09 - Stump / Mill Pond - Westboro, MA
read about this one on this site. took the canoe out saturday afternoon, a beautiful day to be out. several other people here as well, but not too crowded.
about a half hour in nicholas got this nice 3-1/2 lb largemouth. his biggest bass yet. he also got a 10 incher a few mins later.
after that it was pretty dead all day until the sun went down. around 8:30 they were hitting almost every cast (rapala), but it got dark real quick. we could barely see the launch area as we headed in.
ended the day with 3 bass, 4 pickerel, and a couple sunfish.
will definitely go back. tons of stumps, structure, weeds, etc. there has to be some big fish in there just waiting to be caught.
