Spot Pond With Crawfish

Hit Spot Pond for a few hours in the afternoon. Walked down the 93 side across from Straw Point and fished with a black senko and a small crawfish on a jighead. The senko brought in a few bass, both largemouths and smallmouths ranging from 1-2 pounds. The crawfish was undoubtedly the better bait today, landing more fish and bigger fish. Since the water is crystal clear, I simply hiked along the rocks and shoreline, and sight casted my crawfish at them. It is loads of fun doing this since you can spot some big schools of quality bass cruising, but if they see you, they scatter. Stealth is really important! I still want to return and throw some massive trout swimbaits to try and get a huge bass. I saw one today in the 5-6 range.
