So i just made this account yesterday but figured i share some other trips i have had recently. I have been fishing a lot at the Mystic River right at the mouth of the river and right before where the river bends and goes into the lake, i have been using a small variety of baits mostly Zoom 6 inch Purple Lizards, 5 inch Purple Senkos, and a variety of Strike King spinner baits. I only caught one fish off my spinning rod because i have been enjoying my baitcaster so much.

So we decided to go over to the Medford boat club at around 11pm Thursday night i was using a Bass Pro Shops Brawler Baitcaster with 50lb Sufix Braid with a yellow and red Strike King 5 inch spinner bait we were there for about a half hour when i threw the spinner bait at right into the moving water coming down from the upper lake i was doing a slow retrieve when the striper hit we went back and forth for about 10 minutes then i finally landed him he put up the best fight i've had in a while we didn't get to weigh him but we guess he was about 7/8 pounds.
